Product Description:
MPO/MTP is an incredibly high-density fiber optic connector, its
size is double the size of LC, but it can contain up to seventy-two
fibers! It greatly reduces the physical space for data centers.
When connecting the MPO connections, it is important to ensure that
the connectors being connected are of the same core configuration
(e.g. 12 cores with 12 cores or 24 cores with 24 cores).
Furthermore, it is essential to match the same polishing type of
connectors, with either PC or APC. Additionally, if both connectors
are female, they will not be able to be connected. Furthermore, it
is essential to ensure that PC polished connectors are not
connected with APC polished connectors.
When selecting your MPO patch cord, it is best to determine the
gender and the polarity of the MPO MTP patch cord in your data
center.Once you’ve identified this information, you can then buy a
patch cord that will be able to connect the two MPs together, for
example, if the MPO MTP connector is a male type, you will need to
purchase a female type MPO MTP patch cord.
Features:
Cable diameter normal is 3.0mm round cable, however we offer more
options like flat cable, 4.5mm double shealth cable and armoured
cable.
When it comes to MPO/MTP patch cord types, we have A type, B type,
and C type (fiber arrangement). Both male and female connectors are
available, the female one comes without PIN whereas the male
version with PIN.
Regarding fiber types, we have the choice between single-mode
(G652D, G657A1, G657A2) and multi mode (OM3, OM4, OM5). The MPO/MTP
types have been split up into 4/8/12/16/24/32/48 fiber and two
different types for insertion loss are present, Standard and Elite
/ Low Loss.
